Friends of Cortelyou (FOC) is a group of residents and business owners who meet regularly to plan and implement strategies that support Cortelyou Road’s appearance and vitality. Cortelyou Farmers Market
The Cortelyou Farmers Market, open Saturdays from May through November, in the PS 139 school yard on Argyle, is a wonderful place to meet and greet neighbors and shop for fresh food and eclectic crafts. Chelsi Meyerson, the market manager, is employed by the Council on the Environment, the program of the Mayors office, that oversees the management of the Greenmarkets throughout the city.
