What We Do
Flatbush Development Corporation (FDC) serves children and young people in grades K–12, providing high-quality youth development programs in NYC Department of Education public schools and NYCHA community centers across Brooklyn. FDC delivers comprehensive programs and services designed to support academic achievement, social-emotional development, and long-term success. Through engaging after-school programming, mentoring, and enrichment activities, we create safe, supportive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop critical life skills, and
establish strong foundations for their future.
Rooted in youth development and community impact, FDC empowers children and teens to reach their full potential. By partnering with families and investing in education, leadership, and wellness, we help cultivate resilient, motivated, and capable young people prepared to thrive in school, in their communities, and throughout their lives.
