Join us this Sunday June 9, at 7 PM for the official launch of our Newkirk Plaza lighting Installation & Art Launch. FDC was awarded a grant from NYC Small Business Services to bring creative ways to improve lighting in our commercial district. “Urban Braids” has been installed around the Plaza, as well as in the Marlborough Tunnel. In the tunnel, we are excited to reveal local artist John Sear’s newest mosaic “Newkirk, Hands of the Sun” addition to walls. We look forward to this Plaza Transformation! Hope to see you there.
