Where Learning Meets Exploration!
At P.S. 152/315, our Learning and Enrichment Afterschool Program is where learning meets exploration, and every child grows beyond expectations. We provide a dynamic, club-based experience designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture each student’s unique interests.
Our program offers a wide range of enriching opportunities, including music, arts, and creative expression, allowing students to discover and develop their talents in a fun and supportive environment. Through our club-based model, youth have the freedom to explore areas they are passionate about while building new skills, friendships, and a strong sense of identity.
We place a strong emphasis on community and family engagement, recognizing that student success is rooted in meaningful connections. Through events, showcases, and ongoing communication, we actively involve families as partners in their child’s growth and development.
At P.S. 152/315, we are more than an afterschool program—we are a community where creativity is celebrated, voices are heard, and every child is empowered to thrive.

Program Leadership
Tiara Rodney I Program Director, LEAPS
Tiara, the Program Director for the LEAPS Afterschool Program at P.S. 152, has served in this role for the past year and brings over four years of experience with Flatbush Development Corporation. Her passion for youth development was not something discovered early on, but rather a calling that developed over time into a deep commitment to supporting and uplifting young people. Through her early experiences working with children, she witnessed firsthand how positive guidance and structured support can shape confidence and foster lifelong learning.
She takes great pride in the meaningful relationships she has built with students and families, as well as the growth she has witnessed in youth who have gained confidence, improved academically, and developed essential life skills. The most rewarding part of her day is seeing the joy and smiles on children’s faces.
Tiara aspires to leave a lasting impact by empowering youth to believe in themselves and reach their full potential. Outside of work, she enjoys creative activities and spending time with family and friends, which helps her stay balanced and inspired in both her personal and professional life.
