FDC’s 2017 Benefit Gala

Our Annual Benefit Gala, held every May in Brooklyn, is FDC’s most important fundraiser of the year. FDC’s integrated and holistic approach goes well beyond basic grant funder mandates. However, this does not come without a cost. Closing our organization’s operating gap is a significant issue that we must address directly since government funding does not equal FDC’s actual cost for providing the necessary and valuable services and events we provide our community members. Lowering FDC’s standards is not an option. Together, we will help FDC maintain its commitment to excellence    Ticket Sales, Sponsorship Opportunities, Journal Ads, and Auction Donation information coming soon! SAVE THE DATE Join Us at the Picnic House in Prospect Park on May 31st, 2017 (6:30-11pm) in celebration of the vitality of Flatbush and to Honor Alfred DiGrazia and Alison Morea, Founders of Midwood Martial Arts and Family Fitness. Please join us on this special day as we thank and wish a fond farewell to Al and Alison as they prepare to move away from the Flatbush... read more

For the last 40 plus years, the Frolic has grown into one of New York City’s premiere street fairs, attracting over 20,000 visitors and over 150 vendors from all over Brooklyn. This year the Flatbush Frolic will feature food, dance, live music, a pizza eating contest, craft fair, children’s area, main stage, beer garden, a non-for-profit area, local businesses and more!
