FDC’s 2017 Benefit Gala

Our Annual Benefit Gala, held every May in Brooklyn, is FDC’s most important fundraiser of the year. FDC’s integrated and holistic approach goes well beyond basic grant funder mandates. However, this does not come without a cost. Closing our organization’s operating gap is a significant issue that we must address directly since government funding does not equal FDC’s actual cost for providing the necessary and valuable services and events we provide our community members. Lowering FDC’s standards is not an option. Together, we will help FDC maintain its commitment to excellence    CLICK HERE for Ticket Sales, Sponsorship Opportunities, Journal Ads, and Auction Donations! Flatbush Frolic

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2017 Flatbush Development Corporation’s Annual Flatbush Frolic Street fair is fast approaching! For the last 40 plus years, the Frolic has grown into one of New York City’s premiere street fairs, attracting over 20,000 visitors and over 150 vendors from all over Brooklyn. This year the Flatbush Frolic will feature food, dance, live music, a pizza eating contest, craft fair, children’s area, main stage, beer garden, a non-for-profit area, local businesses and more! This year we plan on taking the Frolic to the next level. We are putting a call out for local vendors and local musicians that would like to get involved. FDC has been, and remains committed to supporting and highlighting the diversity of merchants and artists from our local community. We are looking for general vendors, food vendors and corporate vendors/sponsors. This year, in response to our growing artistic community, we plan to grow a craft fair within the Frolic. The craft fair is specifically for local handmade arts and crafts, nothing mass produced or imported. Check out our fun recap video of the Frolic:   Vendor Categories: If you are a general vendor, food vendor or corporate vendor please click here for an application and registration information.
