FDC Presents! is a series of events on Newkirk Avenue and Cortelyou Road where we exhibit music, dance, stories and more!
FDC Presents! is an events series in collaboration with Newkirk Plaza and Cortelyou Road Merchants Association. Every installation brings something different and we are excited to provide fun and engaging events for families and citizens of the community.
The first part of this series was at Newkirk Plaza outside of Don Burrito for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. For this, we had a Mariachi band, traditional Mexican folk dancing and we handed out tamarind candies.
We’re also hosting a 6 part performance and story telling series with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus. These performances are great for kids and a good mix of magic and movement activities for everyone to participate in.
