Sunday, July 31 Newkirk Avenue Open Streets: On this day we celebrated our community & city’s diversity with our Open Streets activations for the day.

Throughout the summer all the participants from several of our sites are encouraged to learn different facts, culture, and geography about themed countries!

In accordance with our summer theme “What’s In Our Backyard” the students were challenged to create their version of a tree hand for arts & crafts

As a way to encourage the community to make their book-mark, we give away free reading books and healthcare supplies
